ON THE WATER............
It's all about the Finns! Over the weekend our clubs Finn sailors have been doing battle at the Finn Nationals in Brixham. All together 46 competitors took part from around the Country and CSC were by far the best represented club with 10 competitors – that's over a fifth of the racing fleet!
In the overall competition Simon Percival (Sail #635 – pictured above) achieved 6th position over the series of 8 races – a great achievement. Looking at the age categories; Jack Arnell and Jack Acton both did well gaining a 3rd and 5th place respectively in the U23 category while Ray New won the Legend award - a somewhat more senior age driven award!
It is superb that the Club is able to field such a fleet at this kind of event – a thanks to all who took part.
