Club Photo Competition and the Aldridge Trophy

Cruising and Junior Log

Many of our cruiser owners embark on Voyages ranging from one to several weeks. The winner of the Aldridge award for the Best Cruising log will be announced at the AGM. In addition, the Junior Log trophy for the best Junior Log will be announced. We know that, despite the shorter season, Junior members had Holidays and entered Dinghy Competitions and events and a log of your event, or season is the ideal opportunity to enter for this Trophy. Your entry should be lodged with the Office by 11th March 2024.

2024-2025 CSC Photographic Competition

Initiated by the late Chris Austen with trophy presented by Phil Whiston.


This year is special so there are 2 categories encouraging members to send smart phone or camera images recording the celebrations.

Digital categories: As we are celebrating our 150th year all members are encouraged to submit digital photos which encompass the themes:   Celebrations on the Water   Celebrations off the Water. 

Entries can be sent via email to CSCphotos@btinternet.com at any time of the year.
Please note: Entries to include your name and the titles of the images.  
Print categories are PEOPLE and SAILING.
Prints 10x8in or A4.
Please label on the back with your name and picture title.
All entries need to be submitted by Friday January 31st 2025.  Prints to the Club office and digital images to the e-address above.
