Class 4
Class 4 has an active and competitive dinghy racing under PY handicaps 1264 and below. We offer a full racing calendar on weekends and evening series in the harbour around the cans. We also have one off trophy races as well as interclub sailing out to sea and in the harbour against the other local sailing clubs which others some big fleet racing.
Fleets of 8 to 15 dinghies typically turn out and with bigger numbers turning up when the bar is open afterwards.
The club also has its own boats that members are welcome to use and which provide a great starting point for those looking to eventually get their own boat. There is also a modern fleet of RIBs and safety boats to monitor the activities on the water.
The handicap fleet at CSC includes a wide range of boats; Laser, Laser Radial, Laser Pico, Finn, Rs Vision, RS Feva, Rs 300, Splash/Flash, Contender, Solo, OK, Topper Bizz, Gull, Fireball, Lighting, Wayfarer, Wanderer, 420.
