ON THE WATER.......

Another blustery weekend saw most of Saturday and Sunday's dinghy racing cancelled except for the Finns on Sunday. The Saturdays were against us for the whole series with only 2 races being run. Sundays faired better! This concludes the Winter series. Results are as follows:

Scow Winter Sun- 1st Nigel Burt, 2nd- Nick Woolley

Class 4 Winter Sat- 1st- Ray New, 2nd- Alex Atkins

Class 4 Winter Sun- 1st- Flynn Atkins, 2nd- Ruth McCarthy

Class 5 Winter Sat- 1st- Keith Barkway

Class 5 Winter Sun- 1st- Finnlee LA, 2nd Francesca N

Finn Winter Sunday- 1st Simon Percival, 2nd Alex Atkins

A special "well done" to the large number who took part - approx 45 dinghies in total signed on for at least one race. A great turn out from Juniors across Classes 4 and 5 saw wins for Flynn on his Laser 4.7 (where a total of 24 boats took part at least once) and Finnlee on his Optimist race to victory.

Good luck to our Laser Youth sailors out in Spain in the Palamos Christmas regatta this week.
