Craning Out

Many thanks to everyone who helped during Craning Out.

Particular thanks to Charlie Turner and the Craning Team, also to the Hospitality team for providing food and drink throughout the day.

It was a long day and it was excellent that we managed to complete the job within the day. The weather was very uncertain and the tide height did mean some changes to the original timings So also thanks to Cruiser owners who had prepared there boats as instructed and were ready when called even if wasnt exactly when they expected. In all 46 boats were lifted and fitted in on the hard plus Ianthe in the Long Boat Shed. The whole job was completed safely without mishap despite much of the hard being underwater for most of the morning.
