CHRISTCHURCH CARNAVAL FIREWORKS WERE CANCELLED... BUT NOT FOR US!

As the fireworks were cancelled by BCP council for safety reasons, in true Christchurch Sailing Club spirit we enjoyed our own Tuckton Bridge firework display shown on the clubroom big screen. Any resemblance to Sidney Harbour Bridge is purely coincidental! No grass or wildlife was harmed during the showing of this display. Thanks to Dancey productions and special thanks to all the volunteers who laid out the bbq's, tables, chairs and gazebos and importantly put them away again in the evening and following morning.
