The Finn World Masters Event.

The Finn World masters were held last week in Mar Menor Spain, Russell New and Simon Percival were due to compete and travel out to the event with 3 Finn`s in tow, however COVID got in the way of that particular plan..! Andy managed to borrow a boat for the week so at least he was able to get out on the water if perhaps it wasn't the result he was looking for. Never a less the competition was a huge success given the circumstances, with worldwide travel restrictions, to get 108 competitors from 20 countries was a great achievement. Credit to the work, as Finn World Masters president Andy puts into the event, next year the Christchurch fleet will be heading to Helsinki in July for the world masters celebrating 70 years of the Finn, lets hope Russell and Simon make it this time
