Winter Talk  

Following Stuart Percival's lifetime of being a passenger on all the Queen Ships of Cunard from the early Sixties, he is delighted to introduce our speaker STEVE HERRA at this Wednesdays talk on the History of Cunard.

STEVE HERRA is third generation Cunard seafarer and has met many of the stars that travelled on Cunard over the years.  His last ship was the QE2 where he was a Purser. On leaving Cunard he served in the Royal Naval Reserve. 

Cunard History and Glamorous Stars  

Based on the history of Cunard from 1840 until the present day.

Celebrities and stars who sailed aboard Cunard ships are featured in the talk. including what Charles Dickens thought about the furnishings aboard Britannia.

The actress who brought her gleaming white Rolls Royce on board Queen Mary and her own chickens as she demanded fresh eggs each day.

Make sure you book the evening meal for 6.45pm, prior to the talk which starts at 8pm
