RYA Level 2 Powerboat Course (PB07)

This is a comprehensive two day course providing the skills and background knowledge needed to drive a powerboat safely in tidal waters. It forms the basis of the International Certificate of Competence. Training will take place in a choice of planing or displacement craft and will cover tuition on collision avoidance, boat handling and navigation theory. This course is suitable for people with some knowledge of boating and previous experience in driving small powerboats. We are also able to run this course on demand on week-end dates, please contact the office for more information and dates.

Please note: A Temporary Membership Fee of £35 will be added to the cost of our courses for applicants who are not members of Christchurch Sailing Club. Non members are welcome to book courses directy through the club office.
