This course is suitable for any cruising sailor wishing to further their knowledge of navigation, safety, weather and passage planning. It will cover international rules for preventing collisions at sea, navigation marks, chart work, weather, tides, safety, passage planning and use of electronic navigation aids. A minimum of 6 course members will be required to make training viable.

Course Dates will be Saturday / Sundays 5th, 11th, 18th November and Sat / Sun 25th & 26th November 2023.

Please note: A Temporary Membership Fee of £35 will be added to the cost of our courses for applicants who are not members of Christchurch Sailing Club.
