Pursuit Race multiple starts and a finish after one hours racing.

One of 5 Pursuit races that are also scored as a Series. Each race also has an individual prize.

Course Start

Set for the course chosen by the Class Captain or representative: Start is 6, 3 and Zero hooters, followed by a hooter every minute for individual starts (Class Captain will provide a handicap table which will indicate who should start at which minute) A Bullhorn or indicator board will be used to indicate which start is next after Zero; e.g. +1, +2, +3 etc.

On station and Scow class Flags to be flown. Scow flag comes down at Zero minutes

Course Finish

RO to move station to make a finish line at the course buoy which will result in a first finisher time of approximately 1 Hour.

Starting sequence

6, 3, 0 and subsequent one-minute hooters until all starters have gone.

Recording Results

Record the position of each boat as they finish no timings except for the first boat, in order to confirm handicap.
