Round the Island Race

Twelve boats entered this years Round the Island Race with CSC sailors on several non club boats also.

It was a breezy days racing with gusts at 31 knots recorded by several crews. As we rounded the Needles we were confronted with the RNLI in attendance to an upturned catamaran and at Bembridge another Cat upside down.

Great performances recorded by all crews with special mentions for Curumba 2nd in Class, 2nd in group and 5th overall. Marmite 4th in class and 25th overall. Blue moon 2nd in class and 27th overall. 

A great sail was had by all in difficult conditions.
