We have a very large number of registrations from non members attempting to access this site, therefore I have suspended new registration through the website.

If you are a CSC member and are not registered please E-mail me from the homepage of the main club website and I will manually register you.

Sounds like a good idea.  Looking at the forum stats, if all those 'new members' were genuine members and paid club subscriptions we would be well on the way to buying the moorings!  We are re-assured by your diligence in keeping this under control and protecting us.

Update

I have now enabled Registration again, The upgraded forum, has one of those text box thingies, which stop Web Bots registering automatically, seems to work OK.

However their are still a few erroneous registrations, I will only confirm registrations of members whose e-mail addresses the club has, or who are known to me.
