Hello Christchurch Ralliers   Rally dates are from Thursday 21st September to Monday 25th September. We've booked these 4 nights to give people the maximum choice of nights at the rally rate.   Please let us know if you are coming indicating: • arrival and departure date. • Name, overall length and draft of boat in metres. • Number and names of all people attending. We've asked for a mixture of finger and long walk ashore pontoons so let us know any preferences and/ or mobility issues which we'll pass on to the marina mooring team. Tides Thursday 21st, Portsmouth HW 1256, Christchurch Ent 1st High 10:15. Friday 22nd, Portsmouth HW 1338, Christchurch Ent 1st High 10:55. Saturday 23rd, Portsmouth HW 14:18, Christchurch Ent 1st High 11:30. Sunday 24th, Portsmouth HW 14:55. Christchurch Ent 1st High 12:15. 2nd High 15:50. Monday 25th, Portsmouth HW 15:30. Christchurch Ent 1st High 12:55. 2nd High 16:35. The ebb tide in the Western Solent starts Portsmouth HW -1.5 hrs so ideally arrive Yarmouth at this time to take maximum advantage of favourable tide, departing CSC as soon as the tide height allows. Return Passage Race Nick Woolley is organising the passage race back to Christchurch on the Sunday. Race start time 13:15 off Black Rock Buoy to a committee boat. Saturday Evening Dinner A meal has been booked at the Royal Solent Yacht Club for 7-30 pm for the Saturday night. Let us know if you will be joining us and your menu choices from the menu below. We need to know by Monday 11th September as the menu choices need to be finalised with the Yacht Club 10 days before the event. Cancellations will only be accepted by the Yacht Club up to Wednesday 20th September. After that all further cancellations will be charged by the Yacht Club at full cost. Two courses: £18-50 including tea or coffee Three courses : £23-50 including tea or coffee Starters Roast Cherry Tomato & Stilton Tart Butternut Squash & Coconut Soup with Crusty Bread Main Course Slow Braised Steak, Ale & Mushroom Pie Italian Style Chicken Supreme Vegetarian Main Course Option Melt in the Middle Mushroom Spinach & Stilton Wellington Dessert Strawberry & Kiwi Pavlova Apple & Blackberry Crumble with Custard Tea or Coffee Cheese & Biscuits are available at an extra cost of £5.15 per person. We need to let the Yacht Club know at the time of booking the meals. Please let us know all other dietary requirements and allergies when giving us your menu choices.
